Crochet Scrubby Pattern

Materials:

Gauge:

  • Not necessary. My scrubbies measure approximately 5 inches in diameter when completed.

Pattern Key:

  • MR - magic ring

  • CH - chain

  • DC - double crochet

  • Sl St - slip stitch

  • St - stitch

Notes:

You will make each side of the scrubby, which are identical. Then you will join them together.

This pattern is worked in joined rounds.

Right side and wrong side does not matter.

If you have any questions, feel free to reach out on Instagram, Facebook, or via email!

Instructions:

**MAKE 2**

Start with MR. If you are not comfortable with a MR, you can CH3, SL ST into 3rd CH from hook to make a circle.

Round 1: CH 3 (counts as 1st DC), DC 11 into MR, SL ST to top of CH 3, tighten MR. (12 DC)

Round 2: CH 3 (counts as 1st DC), DC 1 in same ST as CH 3, 2 DC in remaining 11 DC, SL ST to top of CH 3. (24 DC)

FASTEN OFF and weave in ends.

JOINING:

Hold both sides of the scrubby together.

Insert hook through both front and back of outer DC and draw up a loop CH 1 (does not count as SC).

SC in same stitch, SC 23 around paying attention to drawing though both front and back scrubby. (24 SC)

FASTEN OFF and weave in ends.

Happy hooking!!

Much love,

Mandie
