Life Is Great!
The other day was my mother-in-law's birthday :) She turned 21 *wink wink*
I knew I wanted to make her something special for her birthday because she always works so hard doing landscaping and home remodeling with her Henreeeeeee (you have to say it in a high pitched voice and drag out the reeeee and emphasize it to get the full effect). I was planning on making her a sunflower blanket for Christmas this year, but I ramped up production, threw in her favorite saying and this is what I developed.
It's been a rough few months (since around October 2019- ish) for plenty of reasons for our family. My mother-in-law takes it in stride and tries to keep the attitude positive. She's always saying "life is good". And I tend to respond with "life is great". Since the Covid-19 and lockdown and now riots and sadness and anger, I knew this was going to mean a lot to her and to our family in general.
Even though life is chaotic and seeming like it's going downhill fast in this world we live in, it is what you make of it. Custody battles ensue, riots are both civil and violent, people are angry and thankful, people are confused.
A lot of things are wrong in this world one way or another, but I am thankful for the family and friends that I do have. I'm thankful for my job. I'm thankful for my crochet business. And finally, I am thankful to be able to spread my love and my positivity from my family to yours through words, pictures, and crochet.
So if you are down with depression, anxiety, or just having some bad luck, remember this:
You are amazing.
You are worth it.
You are loved.
You are my hero.
Life is good.
Life is great!
Much love <3
